Type of work: Illustration

This is the first illustration of a fantasy series that I’m currently writing.

At this point in the story, the main character was left alone on a wooden boat, drifting across the deep waters of an unmapped lake. From the darkness, this ancient humanoid creature emerged. Her skin was made of luminous, sharp, and reflective scales, and yet it looked soft to the touch.

She was curious about this unexpected human visitor, but her ancient instincts were telling her exactly what to do. There was something ominous in the way she approached. She knew how this encounter would end.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
