Type of work: Concept Design

In this concept I designed a portal that briefly distorts and rips Mat’s body as he passes through, only to reassemble him once he’s fully crossed. To give the other departments a clear visual roadmap of the transformation, I broke the process down into several stages, each with increasing intensity.

Maintaining consistent twists and contortions from one stage to the next proved challenging, but the effort paid off with a satisfying, cohesive sequence.
