Type of work: Matte Painting

This shot was produced for the German television channel ProSieben as part of their superhero campaign featuring the Avengers as primary representatives. We received the original footage directly from Marvel, and I was asked to replace the existing backgrounds with custom environments of my own creation, consistently incorporating the channel's distinctive headquarters tower throughout.

Given the substantial number of shots requiring various perspectives and angles, I decided that a 3D approach would be the most efficient solution. I modelled and textured the building, then positioned it within each scene accordingly. This 3D workflow proved far more practical than attempting to integrate the tower through traditional 2D methods, which would have required extensive perspective distortions and complex paint-over work for each individual shot.
