Type of work: Matte Painting

This is the opening shot of High Garden, seen from the approaching army captained by Jaime Lannister. The three blocks of soldiers were shot separately on a common ground which I was asked to extend all the way to the sky in the back. I was given some references for the castle and built it according to the provided concept. The individual army formations were subsequently assembled and seamlessly integrated during the compositing phase to create the final cohesive scene of the military advance on this iconic stronghold.
